I forward you the call of “Knit Together” they are looking for volunteers to dress Nelson for summer. That funny action is taking place in the whole city center, where you start to see colorful “dressed” trees and benches !

You can be part of this funky project!
Meet new friends and learn new skills at our Knit Togethers. Happening at The Free House Tuesday evenings 7-9 pm & RED Art Gallery Thursday afternoons 2-4 pm.
Think beyond the needles and explore your creativity through ‘adopting’ an object or area to install your work in the central city. Maybe a tree is calling for hand-crafted birds, a lamppost or a parking meter needs a wonderful wrapper, a parkbench some decorated legs, it’s up to you!
