Having long hair, and being a bit lazy to dress them properly everyday, I enjoy headbands very much. It keeps my hair away from my face, and it keeps my ears warm at winter. Those ones are made with a very easy crochet stitch: it’s a double grid made of sc and dc. “Sea Poppy” and “Sunflower” are made with the quality “Peru” from Sirdar, a fantastic warm and soft mix of Alpaca, wool and acrylic .
The “Pink Daisy” is made of a fancy wool I had in my stash, unfortunately, with no label…
All the flowers are made in cotton, mostly “Catania” from Schachenmayr Nomotta. “Sea Poppy” has been embellished with Swarovski and coral beads.
Those headbands are absolutely lovely when they are worn as neckwarmer.
