Good day everyone ! 😀
I hope you’ll enjoy the new released design: the Plaid Checkers Scarf Knitting pattern. This is a good warm thick scarf that will keep you  cosy in the cold !
This scarf is made of sections of three squares, knitted using Intarsia method on double-pointed needles. This is inspired by the book “Pop Knitting” by Britt-Marie Christoffersson.
While working this pattern you will be knitting at times a right side row followed by a right side row and a wrong side row followed by a wrong side row. This is very easy to do by just pushing your stitches back to the other end of your needle and picking up the correct yarn and knitting. You might want to use a point protector for the ends of your needle, switching it from end to end as you knit to make sure you stitches don’t fall off.
Notion of Intarsia: Each section of the pattern is worked with a separate strand of yarn. When changing colors, bring the old working yarn over the yarn to be used in the next section. Always twist yarns on the wrong side of the fabric.
If you like this scarf, you’ll probably enjoy the assorted Plaid Checkers Hat which is made the same way, in a thick and warm fabric.
